Terms Of Use for Web Portal

On the Altamira Port Authority’s portal we publish, without censorship all kinds of ideas and information on the Internet and we do not monitor any of our client’s activities under normal conditions. Likewise, we do not verify any of the editorial content published within our website, however, in accordance with your Terms and Conditions, we can remove any material that, under our discretion, could be illegal, subject to legal action or that violate our Terms and Conditions. The Altamira Port Authority may cooperate with the legal authorities in the investigation of any suspected fraud or crime. The violation of our Terms and Conditions may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account and other actions detailed as follows.

We do not routinely supervise the activities of individual accounts except when the system requires it and for billing purposes. However, if during our efforts to ensure a sense of community within the Internet, we will respond appropriately if we are informed of the inadequate use of our service.

You may not use our dedicated server, nor its virtual site to publish material that the Altamira Port Authority deems to be illegal, indecent or disagreeable. For the purposes of this policy, the “material” refers to all forms of communication, including narrative descriptions, graphics (photographs including illustrations, images, drawings and insignias), programs, videos or audio recordings.

If an Altamira Port Authority portal account violates any of the Terms and Condition we reserve the right to terminate the service without notice. We prefer to notify the client regarding the inappropriate behavior and counsel them to take corrective action; however, flagrant violations of our policies will lead to immediate suspension or termination of the service.

Illegal Use:
The Altamira Port Authority’s portal services should not be used for illegal practices, or in support of them. The Altamira Port Authority reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities and/or affected third parties in the investigation of any crime or fraud. This also applies to sites that promote any illegal activity or content that could affect our servers or any other Internet server, or the provider to these sites.

Fraudulent Activities:
Use of the Altamira Port Authority’s portal to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, articles, services, “pyramid schemes” or “chain letters”.

Unsolicited e-mail (SPAM):
Use of the Altamira Port Authority’s portal to transmit any unsolicited e-mail is prohibited. Violations of this manner will lead to an immediate termination of the offending account in the Altamira Port Authority’s portal, without a refund.

Non-authorized access:
Use of the Altamira Port Authority’s portal to access, or attempt to access other accounts, infiltrate or attempt to infiltrate the Altamira Port Authority portal’s security systems, or software / hardware from another entity, lead to corruption or loss of data, is prohibited and the offending portal account will be terminated immediately without notice.

Copyright and Registered Trademarks:
Use of the Altamira Port Authority’s portal to transmit any material (via E-mail, files or any other manner) that infringes on copyright, trademark, patent, commercial secret or other third party rights, but not limited to, copying unauthorized trademarked material, the numbering and distribution of photographs, books, sources with author’s rights and the transmission of unauthorized software. Network interruptions:
Use of the Altamira Port Authority’s portal for any activity that affects client or system capacity to use the Altamira Port Authority’s portal or Internet. This includes “Denial of Service” (DOS) against another network host or individual client. Interference with other clients’ resources, services or equipment is prohibited. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their system is configured securely (Dedicated Servers). A client may not, through action or inaction, permit others to use their system or illegal or inappropriate actions. Entrance to and/or non-authorized use of another IT system within the company will lead to immediate account termination. The Altamira Port Authority will not tolerate any client that attempts to access other’s accounts, or infiltrates the system’s security measures.

Viruses:
Intentional distribution of software that will damage, bother or create a nuisance to persons, data or IT systems are prohibited. Whoever violates this will immediately have their account terminate.

The Altamira Port Authority requires that any person who believes there to be a violation of the Terms and Conditions on behalf of any site hosted by us, inform us immediately at: [email protected]

The Altamira Port Authority operates in an environment of shared resources. The excessive use or abuse of these shared network resources by a client that may have a negative impact on all other clients is prohibited and could lead to a suspension or termination of their account.

Service Availability:
The client recognizes that the service provided es such that can be interrupted due to many causes except for the company’s negligence and that any damages that may result due to any interruption in services are difficult to prove. Therefore, the client agrees that the company is not responsible for any damages generated by these causes. Under no circumstances is the company liable for any damages, losses or resulting lesion.

Notification of Violations
First Violation: Client will be notified by e-mail of the violation. The service may be suspended under discretion of the Altamira Port Authority portal’s discretion until such time as an agreement can be reached with the client in writing.

Second violation: Clients that the Altamira Port Authority determines have committed a second violation of the Terms and Conditions will be subject to an immediate suspension of their services or to the termination of their services without notice.

Content responsibility:
As a client in the Altamira Port Authority’s portal you are completely responsible for the content stored on the server.
