At the end of March, <strong>5.3 million tons<\/strong> were mobilized, with <strong>665 vessels<\/strong> being serviced. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\" aria-label=\"Texto traducido\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjT1Yan8_mFAxUvl-4BHfunCc0Q3ewLegQIBRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In the handling of <strong>containerized cargo<\/strong>, there was an <strong>increase<\/strong> of <strong>7%<\/strong> thanks to the continuous movement of merchandise by this means during this period, reaching a movement of <strong>1.7 million tons<\/strong>, which translates to <strong>215,138 TEUs<\/strong>, reflecting an <strong>increase<\/strong> <strong>8%<\/strong> compared to the previous year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\" aria-label=\"Texto traducido\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjT1Yan8_mFAxUvl-4BHfunCc0Q3ewLegQIBRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">In bulk cargo, <strong>703,290 tons<\/strong> were operated in the handling of <strong>mineral bulk<\/strong>, due to the high volumes of iron ore, fluorite and ilmenite, and <strong>316,958 tons<\/strong> of <strong>agricultural bulk<\/strong> were recorded, derived from the handling of corn, distilled dry grain and wheat. . <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\" aria-label=\"Texto traducido\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjT1Yan8_mFAxUvl-4BHfunCc0Q3ewLegQIBRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Regarding <strong>loose general cargo<\/strong>, <strong>1.8 million tons<\/strong> were moved; Also within this category is the movement of <strong>automobiles<\/strong>, reporting <strong>136,426 units<\/strong>, which reflects an increase of <strong>80%<\/strong> compared to the previous year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\" aria-label=\"Texto traducido\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjT1Yan8_mFAxUvl-4BHfunCc0Q3ewLegQIBRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Finally, in the management of <strong>Petrochemical Fluids<\/strong>, the mobilization of <strong>836,743 tons<\/strong> was recorded due to the handling of monovinyl chloride, styrene, monoethylene glycol, butadiene, caustic soda, among others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\" aria-label=\"Texto traducido\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjT1Yan8_mFAxUvl-4BHfunCc0Q3ewLegQIBRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">This has been the result of adequate coordination between port actors and the continuous modernization of the Port in its maneuvering systems and equipment, offering more efficient and higher productivity services.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Port of Altamira continues to be among the main ports in Mexico due to its high demand in foreign trade;
