In the recent visit that the President of the Republic Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto made to Tamaulipas, was emphasized the continuity of the progress of investment announced for the Port of Altamira which is managed by Mr. Jose Carlos Rodriguez.
Talking about this, there keep going the labors on projects for expansion and growth in the short and medium term, which will allow a secure port with modern infrastructure for dynamic service shipping lines, terminals and port community. In addition, as part of elemental growth, there is still given an important monitoring in a project construction yard and maintenance of offshore platforms, used in the exploration and exploitation of oil fields located in deep water.
It was also said that one of the Government’s efforts, is the expansion and renovation of the port infrastructure, where will be given special attention to the Port of Altamira, being that Tamaulipas, for its multiple riches in oil, gas and electricity, make Mexico a main piece of power, thus contributes in the development of the nation.
