In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Port of Altamira, the April 26 was celebrated the opening of the 1st Interport Soccer Tournament male and female.
At this significant event were the Mayor of Altamira; Mr. Armando Lopez and his wife, the Altamira Custom Administrator; Mr. Baruc de la Fuente, and so many teams, which were representing different authorities and sectors that are part of the Port Community.
Among the teams that were part of the tournament are members of API, Altamira Custom, Multimodal Terminal of Altamira, ATP, IPM, SAAM, Suarez Integrated Custom Services, Official States of Mexico Amports, Vopak, Navy Department, Students of Altamira, Marine Terminals, Operator Group Cabezut, Integrative Services, Cooper T. Smith, J. Ray Mc Dermott, Posco of Mexico and Federal Preventive Police.
One of the reasons to celebrate this tournament was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of API of Altamira, SA de C.V. which was founded in 1994.
The Manager of API Altamira; Mr. Rodriguez Montemayor, said the importance of this type of events that promote a close relationship with each of the actors in the foreign trade of the Port of Altamira, which will help us continue positioned as one of the main ports in Mexico.
