The Port of Altamira consolidates in handling oversized cargo and project cargo.
The mexican company CERREY conducted the manufacturing and exporting of 2 boilers of a 547 tons weight approximately each one, 15.9 meters high, 11.7 meters width and 15.5 meters length.
CERREY is a successful company install in the Port of Altamira, and it’s considered leader in the manufacture of steam generators in Latin America, within their services it includes design, installation, manufacture and maintenance of steam generation systems.
The JUMBO JAVELIN vessel arrived at Infraestructura Portuaria Mexicana (IPM) terminal and will transfer the cargo to the Port of Jubail, in Saudi Arabia.
It’s important to mention that because of the infrastructure, the specialized equipment of the terminals install and the competitive advantages the Port of Altamira offer, it is possible the handling of cargo with such dimensions.
