The Port of Altamira received the MSC Texas, the largest containerized cargo ship that has arrived at our port.
This modern ship has 334.07 meters length, 42.80 meters beam and a capacity to transport 8.140 TEUs.
The vessel arrived from Veracruz to the maritime terminal, Altamira Terminal Portuaria (ATP), was docked with the assistance of three tugboats around 3:03 pm, the maneuvers took place without incidents, which will allow it to continue its route to the ports of Houston and Antwerp, Belgium.
The investments in infrastructure made by the Port of Altamira allows the arrival and prompt attention of this type of boats that positioning us as one of the most important Mexican Ports.
