General Motors in recent days, recognized its main global suppliers with the “Supplier of the Year Award 2013”, which is given to more of the 18,500 providers of GM and for the second year, Amports of Mexico received this important award.
With more than 50 years experience in the automotive industry, the company is specialized in processing cars and trucks in the ports of the United States and Mexico and began operations in 1997 in the country, becoming since that moment a provider of logistics and leading processor of vehicles, and also offering to their clients a successful global coverage of their needs, understanding their requirements and implement effective solutions.
It’s important to mention that Amports has 17 acres within the Port, and they are used only in management of vehicles, trucks, tracts, alsothey provide so many value added services to shipping companies that handle different operations by Altamira .
The General Motors Corporation was founded in 1908 in Detroit, Michigan, with a complex of shipping cars and trucks plants and began operations in Mexico in 1935. The delivery of this award is for the quality, service and safety at Amports.
Mr. Rodriguez Montemayor, congratulated the company for winning such an important award and said they will continue working together, so they could continue providing quality services that will increase the numbers of vehicles that are managed by the Port.
