The Altamira Port Authority, under articles 3 and 36 of the Organic Law of the Federal Public Administration, is a company with a majority ownership by the Federal Government, constituted as an Anonymous Society of Variable Capital through public record number 30,118, volume 1278, signed before Mr. Jorge Antonio Sanchez Cordero Davila, public notary 153 from Mexico City, on December 15, 1993, with its first testimony inscribed in leaf 129, of Book one of the Public Commercial Registry of Altamira, Tamaulipas on January 13, 1994; and under the terms of article 38 of the Port Law, is a cessionary of the Secretary of Communications and Transportation for the integrated port administration of the Port of Altamira.
