To strengthen our presence in the border zone of Tamaulipas, a presentation of the Port of Altamira took place during the “II Logistics and Customs Certified 2012” organized by INDEX (Manufactory Association of Reynosa) in South Padre Island, Texas. The certified consisted in 4 conferences that show the benefits and logistic advantages of the Port for the manufacturing industry. During the event, representatives of the Port of Altamira (API), as well as Altamira Terminal Portuaria ( Container and bulk cargo terminal), and other important service companies were speakers.
The participants were able to know about the new projects, public and private investments in the Port as well as the maritime connections with other ports in the world, the quality and productivity of the terminals and a wide range of services to optimize their supply chain.
