The Port of Altamira directed by Jose Carlos Rodríguez, participates in the 2014 National Meeting of the General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine, an event which aims to publicize the actions to be carried out duringthe period 2015-2018.
Within the context of the event, the Director exposed an executive agenda of the public and private projects that have been conducted through the year and the estimation in terms ofincrease in port capacity and optimal infrastructure that will facilitate the arrival of larger vessels generating more cargo attraction.
Similarly, the forum has allowed explaininghow important it is for the south of Tamaulipasthe approval of Structural Reforms, because Altamira will help beinga factor in the business and sustainable development of the area.
The Director of API Altamira emphasized his commitment to the new challenges facing the port to strengthen the oil sector and facilitate procedures that allow attracting new petrochemical and metalworking projects, allowing settling us as the ideal choice for business investment in the Gulf of Mexico.
